Sound Points of Advice by Baltasar Gracian

Baltasar Gracián
(January 8, 1601 – December 6, 1658)
The following are sound points of advice taken from three hundred maxims set down by Baltasar Gracian, a Jesuit scholar who lived in seventeenth-century Spain:
  1. Know your best quality.
  2. Never exaggerate.
  3. Adapt to those around you.
  4. Associate with those you can learn from.
  5. Don’t be tiresome.
  6. Plan for a bad future while your future is good.
  7. Don’t talk about yourself.
  8. The wiser do sooner what fools do later.
  9. Never complain.
  10. Don’t live in a hurry.
  11. Follow through on your victories.
  12. Quit while you are ahead.

THINK BIG. START SMALL. GO DEEP.
