“Beware of no man more than yourself; we carry our worst enemies within us.” (Charles Spurgeon)

Have you ever noticed that? Our hair isn’t right. Eyes too big, nose to wide, height too short, too tall, dark skin, too white, not talented, uneducated, and so on. It’s not difficult to accept other people with their faults and weaknesses, but most too often we won’t accept ourselves. It’s difficult to carry on with this life if you won’t accept yourself.
Dear readers, when we accept ourselves as we are not as what people tell us to be or tell us what we should becomes, you have learned to love yourself. Don’t misunderstand me, love yourself in a healthy way is when you learned to accept your weaknesses and realize that above all, God is willingly to accepts you as you are. When you learn to accept yourself, you’re free to show concern and caring for others. You will be able to obey and appreciate His commandment: “Love your neighbor as you love yourself.”
In the movie Pretty Woman there is a scene where Richard Gere (Ehem…), the successful businessman, tells Julia Roberts, the prostitute, what a great person she is. She says, “It’s hard to believe you’re good at anything when all you’ve been told all your life is how bad you are.” Learn to accept yourself is one of the primary keys to kills the enemies within you. “Beware of no man more than yourself; we carry our worst enemies within us.”
Remember: THINK BIG Should I let people define who I am? START SMALL learns to accept your weaknesses. GO DEEP “Love your neighbor as you love yourself.”
