Players. If you watch this MUST WATCH short movie clip, Tony DAmato (played by
Al Pacino) in 1999's Any Given Sunday,
is giving a speech to his team in the most honest and raw way as possible. As
their coach and leader, he inspired them to do their best and commit 100% to
the game. As Patricia Fripp, an executive speaking coach, once said, "A
team is a group of people who may not be equal in experience, talent, or
education but in commitment."
If you are a leader, the true measure of your success is not getting people to work or play the game.
It's not getting people to work hard. IT IS getting people, a team to work hard
